1MB Code
« on: July 03, 2015, 09:45:16 PM »

How long do you think it would take a competant typer/coder to pump out 1MB of pure code?

Just talking about the actual code/text here and not about how much memory the commands would use.

Lets say this dude or Girl is typing 4 hours a day without distraction.

Could it be done in one or two sittings?

I would say that it would take quite a while.  A million bytes is a lot of code.

It is quite easy to type out 300 to 400 bytes (e.g. comments) without really thinking about it, but to actually try to code something 1MB (megabytes) in size deliberately would take a long while... I assume that using copy and paste shortcuts is not allowed? :D
