I was newbie last year.

http://wololo.net/talk/viewtopic.php?f=65&t=43262

If I remember you have problem with QCMA, if you need a help with that I can help too.
When you set up QCMA all the rest is a piece of cake.

I cant use QCMA, it keeps asking me to update. I cant use anything without updating.

EDIT:- Got it to transfer, but Im screwed now as nothing needs updating game wise. So I cant even download anything.

EDIT2:- Got it, :). Be nice if they said you had to click the failed update, ;).
Now need to work out what I can do with it.

EDIT3:- Just downloading unity stuff. Anyway to block the update message or spoof 3.52?
Update blocker doesn't work.

EDIT4:- Spent 8 hours on this, there is stuff missing from devkit or sdk, not sure which.
Im missing vita-elf-create and arm-vita-eabi-gcc. I cant find them anywhere, I have spent an hour searching, :(.

Its frustrating as Im almost there.

I will ask for help or look for answer.

You really made progress.

I never thought that I could have full speed Amiga on portable device with a joystick :)

Give up, turned on vita today and it said it did a system update (on its own). PSM Unity and its saying its not licensed now. I tried doing PSM steps and nothing. ,:(. Checked version and it says 3.51, really confused.
EDIT:- I tried PSM+ renew key option, seems to have fixed it. Is it me or is the PSP HB scene a mess at the moment. Theres no nice guide's like there used to be.

Right, when I get some time, Ill sort out my linux setup and compile the toolchain myself.
Hopefully that will give better results.

http://wololo.net/2015/06/13/vita-sdk-making-steady-progress/

It's from June so it should be in a better state now.

Vita Toolchain
https://bitbucket.org/cirne/vita-toolchain/src

This prompt to update is not important, it's the way Vita tell you something is wrong with the licence (PSM+ renew licence then)

PS Vita scene is mess because to many things are done at short time.
