Hi folks, just thought I'd introduce myself.
Been an Amiga gamer since 1989(ish) and just starting to get into the behind the scenes side of things. I've always wanted to make an Amiga game, particularly a brawler beat 'em up. I tried Devpac but 68k Assembly is just way out my depth and so today I got my first copy of Amos Pro 2.0 and am currently in the process of trying to follow the manual and learning what's what in order to do my game. I learn best by looking at examples so I'm hoping there's a few out there that I can load up.
I've been making games on Game Maker: Studio for the last couple of years but apart from that I've no coding experience at all.
I have a working A500 but I'm just using Amos on WinUAE at the moment as it's just more convenient. Vanilla A500 512k RAM settings as the limitations are where the challenge is!
That's about it. I've zero idea where to begin to even start my beat 'em up and I'll probably be asking loads of questions in the coming months so I hope you'll bear with me.
Cheers!
