The BOB editor from Easy AMos will allow you to do this effortlesly the elites here will be disgugsted by my suggesstion and hiss as they jerk backwards but for your problem it is the simplest solution.
Now that you mention it, I think it was the Bob Editor (Easy/Original/Pro, they are all similar AFAIK) i was thinking of with the SWAP BOB option?
You are right, it's a simple way around it, but generally i have found the Bob editor less practical to use than DPaint. Of course, it does come down to what an individual finds most agreeable or productive.
However, I am very concerned by your comment here:
the elites here will be disgugsted by my suggesstion and hiss as they jerk backwards
Can you let us know why you think there are "elites" here and to what you are referring? If you have a legitimate concern, it's worth raising with site staff.
Most people here are looking to contribute to the site in a positive manner, and to offer guidance of what they have found to be good practice, experience, or in some cases, found knowledge from disassembly (or similar practices) of the AMOS program code. However, there is no hard-fast rule of "this is what must be done" and of course, everyone will come away with their own preferences.
Many of us have given up our own time to this forum for many years, and I like to think we treat all members, old and new, across a variety of Amiga topics, in equal measure.
I will say that the Forum rules clearly state "Treat all other members of the forum with respect.", so if you have a grievence with any forum members attitude, we would prefer it raised by way of PM, rather that the above types of comments being made, which could easily be taken in the wrong light.
